Return on Equity
Disarmingly simple to calculate, return on equity (ROE) stands as a crucial weapon in the investor's arsenal if properly understood for what it is. ROE encompasses the three main "levers" by which management pokes and prods the corporation -- profitability, asset management, and financial leverage. This series walks you through how to use ROE to value stocks.
A Look at ROIC (Return on Invested Capital)It isn't profit margins that determine a company's desirability; it's how much cash can be produced by each dollar of cash that is invested in a company by either its shareholders or lenders. Measuring the real cash-on-cash return is what return on invested capital (ROIC) seeks to accomplish. This series is an introduction to how ROIC is calculated.

WATER BASE TGT

So now we have to think Waterbase in a stepladder fashion .
First 120 and then 151 and then 195 ------
I have targets above 195 also. But I won`t post those until and unless it reaches 195.
I would like to see how it reaches there and how much time it takes to reach there.
But I feel good days are ahead here also.

WATER BASE IS GOOD INVESTMENT

So today morning itself i was talking of the breaking of  118/50  in a soild move and that has happened.
Interesting point is that the volumes have been soild. I expect that a lot of intrday traders will be booking profit right now.
A closure around 121-122 will indicate a very strong upmove and we will also have to see the delivery percentage in the evening. I expect it around 40-45%.
Any delivery paercentage around and above 50-55% will indicate a very strong bullish buying and accumulation.
Good luck to all long term holders of Waterbase.
Another important point is that the new 52 week high has been created much before the results and if this base increases in a steady manner then a pre result rally itself can give fantastic levels and if results are good then a unprecedented breakout is possible.
The J curve breakout can happen this quarter is results support.

WATER BASE RESISTANCE 118/5...

ABOVE THIS PRICE IT WIULL TOUCH TOUCH 132/-.

The resistance level of 118/50  needs to be broken and when that is broken with a solid momentum it will breakout in a big, The current steady increase is building a good base towards results season and i expect a good pre-result rally.

WATCH WATER BASE DEARS.....

soon waterbase would be on radar of analysts once merger is completed. Surely this is going to be the multibagger for next 2-3 years and we may see the similar kind of rally we have seen in Avanti Feeds... Financials should not be the problem I think... the way it has grown up in the last 5 years if it continues I am sure we are going to see much higher levels in waterbase

PERFORM OIF WATER BASE

THIS IS TO INFOM YOU THAT. During the last 5 years fro 2010-11 to 2014-15 WB is showing a growth of 592% as far as sales turn over is concerned. On merger of PINNAE there is a likely hood tripling their turn over. Therefore it is certain the growth consistency will be maintained. The only drawback I am seeing the equity capital of WB which is near about 41 cr(post merger) where as the equity capital of AF is only 9.08 cr.This is the great advantage of AF to maintain higher EPS and low PE.Comparing the cmps of these stocks the upper hand of AF can be discouted.

BEST POINT OF STOCK MARKET READ AND UNDERSTAND PROPERLY

If you wish to invest in the stock markets and know nothing about them, one convenient way is to opt for mutual funds. If you are keen on investing directly, then do allocate the necessary time, energy and resources.

Have a long-term horizon

Like a company shareholder, give your investments time to grow. Enter the markets with realistic return expectations, and not outrageous ones. Remember that time is the best antidote to risk: the longer your investment horizon, the lower the volatility of returns ..

Analyse, then buy

Analyse the company with the same level of rigour as you would if you were the owner. Initially stick to sectors that you know best. Doctors, for instance, should invest in pharma companies first. Compare a company's ratios with the index and industry historical averages. Look for the following ratio-based characteristics in a stock you are keen on: low PE, low PB, high dividend yield, low debt to equity ratio, and high RoCE and high RoNW.
With the markets split between good but overvalued stocks and poor but undervalued ones, here are a few ratios you should look up before you buy.

1. PRICE TO EARNINGS RATIO

The most commonly used ratio, it compares the price of a stock to the company's earning per share (EPS). The EPS can be either for the past four quarters (historical or trailing PE) or for the coming four quarters (forward PE).

2. PRICE TO BOOK VALUE RATIO

This ratio compares the price of a stock with its book value. The book value is the net value of the company's total assets minus its liabilities. In other words, it is what shareholders will be left with if the company goes bankrupt.
3. PRICE TO SALES RATIO

This ratio compares the price of a stock to the revenue earned per share. The revenue for the past four quarters is used in this calculation.
4. DEBT-TO-EQUITY RATIO

It measures a company's leverage by comparing its debt with its equity base. The ratio indicates the proportion of the company's assets that are being financed through debt.
5. ASSET TURNOVER RATIO

The ratio measures the sales generated for every rupee worth of assets. It shows a firm's efficiency in using its assets to generate revenue.

BEST TIPS FOR NEW INVESTERS

Stock Market Investment is a good method of making money only When you do it with much care and attention. Most people think that stock market is good place to make money. If so all stock traders and stock market investors must become multi millionaires and billionaires. But the reality is not that. When you try to invest in stock market, learn the market and the stock well and starts only after collecting all information and necessary analysis.

You must be aware that nobody can become rich through stock market within a short time. When you enter into stock market you should know this fact and go ahead only with the real facts. You should not trust the advertisements and rumors. Learn everything well and go ahead with confidence.
Invest in a particular stock or in a particular sector only after doing careful market study and independent analysis of the stock you wish to buy. You must not believe others, even if it is the top most investment guru Warren Buffet, without proper self study.

Give much attention to stock investment and watch the market carefully. You never think that you can be a good investor  by doing stock trade just like a part- time work or as a hobby. You can do stock trade as part time work or as hobby, but the net result will be a heavy loss.Do not follow blindly the activities of the other traders, friends or large scale investors. If you follow others the net result will be a loss. You may watch chess while others playing. There may be many ideas in your mind when others playing. But that might not be the idea of the player. Just like in stock trading/investing  you could not watch and follow others.

When you invest in stock market, it must not be for a short period. If you do so no doubt you would be a looser in stock market. Stock market investing  is just like planting trees. You could not harvest in a short while. Wait enough time to get a good harvest. When you invest in stocks of a particular company, study all the activities of the company including their business, management, financial status, popularity, goodwill etc. You must know that if you invest in shares of strong companies no doubt you can yield a good profit, if you are ready to wait for enough time.

Do not be panic while selling or buying shares. The market trend be tempting you to sell or buy shares in a particular time. Whenever you sell or buy stock, do it only after a good market study and analysis. This is not a gambling. This is a real scientific trade which has its own principles and methods. So don’t be panic or greedy.

Never enter in stock market with borrowed money. If you take a loan or borrow money from any friends or relatives, to invest in stock market, you could not refund it in right time. The stock market is volatile and one could not foresee the real position of stock market after a stipulated time.Never invest in stock market with the money you are earmarked for a specified purpose. You could not realize the money when you are urgently needs the money, unless you are not ready to bear a heavy loss. The money you invest in stock market could not easily realize with profit while you hardly need the money.

Do not follow rumors, analyst report, hot stock tips or recommendations of the stock broker. Their strategy or ideas may not help you to get a good profit. They are making such recommendations as a common strategy which may not be suitable for you. All ready made dresses are not suitable for all. You also have a dress in your own measurements. So do not follow blindly such common evaluations.
Diversify your portfolio in a balanced way. Do not over diversify or under diversify. Do it an optimum way of diversification. Only experience can help you here. You can be a good stock trader in a certain period of time with hard work and quality market study. Always remember that Rome is not built in a day.

If you follow all the above mentioned points , you can be a profitable stock investor  and can make money from stock market investment in rainy days or sunny days, in bullish trend or in bearish trend.

LOOK LOOK LOOK WATER BASE FRIENDS

Good morning dear friends !
Cup and handle pattern target here in Waterbase is 151 !
EW analysis (as posted earlier) and Fundamental analysis     ( as done by Math bro) are giving minimum target of 190s !!
So now it is upto every individual to think and act according to that.
However if anybody has different information here , please share that .That will be beneficial to everyone !

my choice is LAKSHMI ENERGY for good return in 6 to 8 month target 14/-

I know its a good company and no need to fear from nsel, but i predict that first price down till rs8-9 again ,then big players entered in it, then unlimited potential, comp is now in growth track. Nsel Scam fallout can not go on indefinitely. It is in common knowledge of all investors & even if not fully then 90% of it is discounted in the Mkt. Only thing I am expecting the outcome of this scam may be positive for the co. now. I know its a good company and no need to fear from nsel, but i predict that first price down till rs8-9 again ,then big players entered in it, then unlimited potential, comp is now in growth track.

WATER BASE-----PAR DHYAN RAKHO BHAI

If we all look carefully, I think from 29th July till 7th September, Waterbase has made EW 1 and 2 and from 8th September, EW3 has started. It could be confrimed that the current wave is EW3 once it crosses and closes above 119. I  feeling that current momentum can take WB beyond 119..

Maruti Suzuki to take shareholder vote on Gujarat plant after govt approvals

NEW DELHI  - Maruti Suzuki India Ltd, India's top-selling carmaker, will take shareholders' vote for a new manufacturing plant in Gujarat after receiving the pending government approvals, its chairman said on Friday.

Maruti, controlled by Japan's Suzuki Motor Corp, needs to start operations at the plant in 2017 and it is on schedule to achieve that, R.C. Bhargava told an annual shareholders meeting.

In 2014, Suzuki said it plans to build a wholly-owned car plant in Gujarat that will supply exclusively to Maruti, saving the company about 105 billion rupees ($1.58 billion).

The plan met with resistance from some of Maruti's large Indian shareholders. The cash-rich company has delayed voting on minority shareholder approval for Suzuki to invest in the Gujarat plant pending approvals from government agencies. ($1 = 66.3750 rupee)

Nifty Spot Technical

Nifty Spot Technical

Nifty yesterday opened with moderate gap up and closed in green at 7823, forms an Inside Day or Bullish Harami pattern in daily chart, which suggests reversal. Anyway confirmation of reversal is required, it has to cross the Mother high 7862 and then 7870 (38.2% level), then next resistance 7950 (Gap resistance). On the downside, 7700-7640 is strong support area.

Dovish tone of ECB Chairman lifted the sentiment of Europe Markets which supported Nifty yesterday, however DOW was not much impressed with ECB and closed off day high. Today Asia Market will decide the tone. JP Morgan has surprised us by issuing a note where they mention that India CSO must have erred in calculating last GDP Number!! They opine that the last GDP number could be 8% which has been erroneously stated as 7.1% by CSO. It is a matter of cheer, on one hand, but on the other hand it is a serious matter of concern. Anyway, FII activities are key in market reversal. Another matter has not been started discussing in media, i.e, Monsoon deficit. Domestic cues are mixed, waiting for next set of macro data like IIP, WPI, CPI and then FED policy meet. Volatility will persist, participants are advised high level of caution, both side.

NOW THE TIME TO BUY IN STOCK MARKET

I also feel that some of the Govt actions taken now will start yielding fruits by end of 2016 and by then China should also return to growth. So for all you know. Beginning of 2017 may spawn a bigger Bull market.
